WHAT IS
NORTH PARK PRESCHOOL

Play is a child’s way of learning and growing. We are a cooperative, play-based preschool, that encourages supervised play without interfering with the child’s interests and actions. It is through meaningful, age-appropriate, creative play that children learn about themselves, their peers and their world. Children grow faster and learn more during the first five years of life than at any other time.

At North Park Cooperative Preschool we follow a structured day. There are crafts, stories, snack time, dance, and song. These activities are all book-ended by Free Play Time where children are supervised, but encouraged to follow their own interests.
